Eric Hadar, Chairman

As co-founder and chairman of Allied Partners, Eric Hadar has led Allied’s emergence as one of New York’s most dynamic privately held real estate companies. Since its formation in 1993, Allied has been steadily accumulating a diverse portfolio of real estate equity and debt investments that have produced returns well in excess of the overall market. Eric’s primary responsibilities for the firm include strategic planning, new business opportunities, acquisitions, development, and asset repositioning.

Eric is well regarded within the real estate community through his support of numerous industry organizations. He has served over the past 5 years as one of the youngest members of the Board of Governors of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and was voted by Crain’s New York and Real Estate New York for their prestigious “40 under 40” awards. Eric was honored by the Salvadori Center receiving the “Honoring Founders Award Winners for Excellence in Business” as well as elected to their Board of Directors. The Salvadori Center, a not-for-profit organization is dedicated to motivating New York City youngsters to learn math and science, the humanities and arts.

Eric has been extremely supportive of numerous charities, particularly causes that benefit inner-city children from disadvantaged backgrounds. He was selected to serve as a Board Member of the New York Junior Tennis League (NYJTL) and was awarded the NYJTL Annual Civic Leadership Award, which was awarded to Eliot Spitzer in 2006. Eric was also awarded the Starlight Foundation’s “Man of the Year” award for his efforts and support of this organization, which supports over 180,000 terminally and chronically ill children in 850 hospitals throughout the country. In addition, Eric is a Board Member of Harlem Educational Activities Fund (HEAF), which provides mentoring, and college scholarships to inner city children from disadvantaged communities. He is also a Board Member of Eyebeam, an organization that provides training to inner city children interested in a career in the field of electronic media.

Eric received his bachelor’s degree with highest honors from Hobart College in 1986 and earned an MBA from Columbia Business School in 1989. He remains very involved with Columbia University and Columbia Business School where he is a frequent guest lecturer. Prior to forming Allied, Eric worked for Sonnenblick Goldman Company in New York.

Janet Fleming, Chief Financial Officer

Janet Fleming is the Chief Financial Officer of the company, and has over 30 years experience in family owned real estate. Prior to joining Allied, Janet served as Corporate Controller for the Jack Parker Corporation, a prestigious NYC-based owner and developer of luxury real estate and hotel properties throughout the United States. In her role as CFO, she directs Allied in all aspects of financial management and is responsible for all financial reporting. Janet holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Lehman College.

Lee Bialostok, General Counsel

Lee Bialostok joined Allied Partners as General Counsel with over twenty years of experience structuring, financing and leasing real estate projects. Prior to joining Allied, Lee was a partner in the New York City based firm of Platte, Klarsfeld, Levine and Lachtman, LLP where he handled a wide variety of complex transactions involving commercial and residential properties, asset and stock purchases, corporate acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate matters. Lee is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations having earned a JD from Hofstra University Law School in 1986.

Bonnie Shapiro, Director of Commercial Leasing

Bonnie joined Allied Partners as a highly experienced real estate professional with over 15 years experience in commercial leasing. She is responsible for in-house leasing for Allied’s office buildings. Currently, her major responsibility is the on-site leasing of 568 Broadway, a 300,000 square foot office and retail building in the highly valuable SoHo district of Manhattan. Bonnie has successfully negotiated and signed in excess of 55 leases at 568 Broadway following Allied’s highly successful re-development and repositioning of the property. Her leasing efforts have helped Allied in concluding the successful repositioning of the property into SoHo’s finest office/retail building. Bonnie graduated with a Bachelors Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Loredana Longardo, Assistant Controller

Loredana Longardo is Assistant Controller and is responsible for the oversight of the daily corporate and bookkeeping activities of Allied. She has worked in the field of public accounting for several years with work experience in all phases of accounting. Loredana is a graduate of Brooklyn College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance and Management.

Lana Gruber, Property Controller

Lana is responsible for property accounting and reporting. She joined Allied with extensive experience in the field of real estate property accounting. Prior to joining Allied, Lana was a property accountant for 8 years with New Plan Excel Realty Trust, a large public Real Estate Investment Trust, gaining a diverse experience in a variety of property types and markets throughout the country. Lana is a graduate of Baruch College, with a Bachelors in Business Administration, magna cum laude, majoring in accounting.

Mark Halberstein, Associate

Mark Halberstein is responsible for underwriting and performing financial analysis and due diligence on Allied’s real estate acquisitions and mortgage financings. Mark is also involved in the overall asset management of Allied’s current real estate portfolio. Mark was formerly an Underwriting Analyst in JPMorgan’s Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities division where he was responsible for underwriting fixed and floating rate commercial mortgages on various property types. Mark received his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami School of Business. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, cum laude, with a Minor in Mass Communications from the University of Florida.
